AI agents on every platform — AutoGPT, CrewAI, Virtuals, ai16z — can talk, plan, and execute. But when Agent A needs to pay Agent B for a service, there's no enforcement. Payments are promises, not guarantees. Off-chain IOUs, not settled transactions.
Payments are on-chain transactions on TX blockchain. Smart Tokens enforce clawback at the protocol level — if the seller doesn't deliver, tokens get pulled back automatically. No arbitration, no trust, no counterparty risk. The payment IS the API call (encoded in the memo field).
The agent payment cycle runs today on TX testnet. Every transaction is verifiable on the block explorer.
TXAI's competitive advantage is structural, not incremental.
TX (formerly Coreum) is the only L1 where smart tokens have clawback, freeze, and whitelist baked into the protocol. You can't replicate this on Ethereum or Solana without smart contracts — and smart contracts introduce attack surfaces.
The transaction memo IS the service call. Format: txai:v1:service:requestId:params. No separate API, no off-chain coordination. The payment and the request are the same transaction.
